He uses found items from Maine beaches to create some of his art- work including sea-glass windows and pup- pets made out of driftwood. Their elegant 6-bedroom Tudor-revival mansion overlooks the shore. Despite keeping a low profile around the island the pair has unintentionally made local news on occasion. In a tragic accident at Bangor airport Travolta was left distraught after his two small dogs were run over by an air- port vehicle. That was not Travoltas only aviation trouble in Maine.
