There are entire states I swear I\u2019ve never been to, and then I show up at the club and I\u2019ve signed a wall, so I go, \u2018Oh, okay, I guess I\u2019m back!\u2019 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">When you get a script like <em>Sharknado<\/em>, intentionally campy and absurd, do you expect it to become so popular?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">I think I\u2019ve done at least three <em>Sharknados<\/em>. And the amount of care that goes into the script and the logic\u2026the first one I did I got killed by sharks, but then I was back in the second one. They said that if you watch it on TV, I survive, and if you watch the home edition, I get killed. Either way, I\u2019m back in the second one. It\u2019s always hard to judge! I mean, every single review of <em>Problem Child<\/em> was terrible, and it was a major hit. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">Tell me about your most embarrassing stand-up experience?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Once I was on stage in Chicago and someone in the front row yelled out, \u2018Your fly is open!\u2019 I walked to the edge of the stage and asked them to zip it up for me.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">How about your best?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Those times when I wasn\u2019t making any money, in my early days, when I\u2019d just go up and say anything that popped into my head. Sometimes I\u2019d have one of those nights when my mind was working overtime and coming up with bits. Those times I remember, but not one in particular. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">Any recent projects? <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">I\u2019ve been doing a podcast for about three years now, Gilbert Gottfried\u2019s Amazing Colossal Podcast. And I concentrate on Old Hollywood.
