Our extraordinary climate makes this unusual product even more singular here.<br \/>\nNow we\u2019ve shifted our rudder. Cannabis became legal by referendum for recreational use, retail sale, and taxation in 2016, and the first licenses for recreational, or adult-use, cannabis businesses were issued in September 2020, with purchasing becoming legal for those 21 and over as of last October.
