This is no time to plan another day at the beach. <\/strong>What to do?<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p5\">Rock \u2018n\u2019 Roll<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p6\"><strong>Maine Granite Industry Historical Society and Museum<\/strong> founder Steven Haynes, who comes from stone-cutting stock, began collecting tools and artifacts of the trade at age 11.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p7\">He and partner Juanita Sprague, whose ancestors also cut stone, run this <strong>Mt. Desert Island<\/strong> museum dedicated to the history of the granite trade in Maine.
