In college, playing for the <strong>Maine Black Bears<\/strong><b>\u2019<\/b> winningest coach, Joanne Palombo-McCallie, 5&#8242; 10&#8243; Kelly was captain of the team that whipped Stanford in the 1999 NCAAs. That alone makes her a legend among Maine\u2019s tall pines\u2014a giant-killer among giant-killers.
