Sargent<\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">Ninety Carroll Street rose on the Western Prom in 1923 near the extreme northern edge of <strong>Bramhall<\/strong>, millionaire <strong>J. B. Brown<\/strong>\u2019s sprawling estate and mansion, which was torn down to create the leafy paradise known as Portland\u2019s West End.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\">\u201cIt\u2019s one of the later structures,\u201d says <strong>John Hatcher<\/strong> of The Hatcher Group. \u201cThe architecture tells us what was happening in the world.
