Like you, I was born in Maine. In 1877, as the last full-rigged ship made in Bangor, I began my career in the China Trade, sailing to the Orient with the name of my owner, lumber baron <i>Llewellyn J. Morse<\/i>, on my billethead.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\">My Far East adventures ended when Louis Rosenfeld bought me in 1888 and I debuted in San Francisco.
