Elephant Walk

In the 1954 Elizabeth Taylor movie, “Elephant Walk” is the name of a mansion that surveys a tea plantation in colonial Ceylon (now Sri Lanka). The eponymous palace is built directly on an ancient elephant path to a precious watering hole. For generations, herds had followed their precise route between jungle and water. And elephants never forget.
